Abstract

The more efficient network transmission rate and increasingly popular hardware technology brought by 5G technology have driven the rapid development of online HD short videos. As one of the most popular online short video mediums in China, Douyin, its international version known as TikTok, has a large youth user base, and its influence on youth growth has attracted widespread attention from families, society, and academia. Therefore, it is important to study the influence of Douyin on youth socialization and propose a media environment that is conducive to building a healthy socialization environment for youth.
