Abstract

Regularity results of Schauder type in the class of Hölderian functions are proved for solutions of second order elliptic equations in the variational form. Morrey and other authors have obtained results of this kind in certain classes of functions {Mathematical expression}. The method of proof followed here makes use of the classes of functions {Mathematical expression} which generalize the classes considered by Morrey, and whose properties in relation to Hölder continuity are studied in some proceeding works. © 1965 Nicola Zanichelli Editore.
