Abstract

Morphology and acoustic signals of four species of the subfamily Gomphocerinae (Orthoptera: Acrididae) from Turkey are studied. Eremippus zeybekoglui Mol sp. n. is described from Northern Anatolia. Gomphocerus transcaucasicus Mistshenko, 1951, stat. n. is considered as a distinct species, not a subspecies of Gomphocerus sibiricus (Linnaeus, 1767). Previously unknown male of Dasypippus uvarovi Karabag, 1953 is described. © Entomologica Fennica.
