ANALISIS TINDAK TUTUR ILOKUSI DALAM LIRIK LAGU ALBUM FABULA KARYA MAHALINI: KAJIAN PRAGMATIK

Abstract

Illocutionary speech acts can be found in song lyrics. Through song lyrics, a songwriter can convey a message to his listeners. One of the musicians who is famous for having a beautiful voice and always creating meaningful songs is Mahalini. The aims of this study were (1) to describe the types and forms of speech acts contained in Mahalini's song lyrics in her album Fabula, and (2) to describe what types of speech acts are most dominant in Mahalini's song lyrics in her album Fabula. This study used a qualitative descriptive method by taking notes as a data collection technique. The source of data from this research is the lyrics of the songs contained in Mahalini's album entitled "Fabula". Based on the research results, several illocutionary speech acts were found in the form of directive, representative, expressive, commissive, and declarative speech acts. Meanwhile, the types of speech acts that are most commonly found are representative speech acts of declaring and representing acknowledging.
