Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation of experimentation and projects as strategies to generate learning of Natural Sciences in students of General Basic Education of secondary school. The methodology was descriptive with a mixed approach, a field, and a cross-sectional design. The instruments used were an interview with the teacher of the area, an initial diagnostic evaluation of 74 secondary school students, a satisfaction form after the implementation of the strategy, and a checklist to evaluate the results. It is concluded that the strategy implemented through a scientific classroom fair promotes meaningful learning, applying knowledge in real-life situations, and allowing students to make statements and justifications using scientific language, aligned with teaching for understanding science.
