Abstract

Authors deeply regret that in entries 9, 10, 33–41 of Table 1, the elemental composition of sulphur and oxygen are not correct, i.e., they are inverted; and a few entries are of biomass feedstock rather than of bio-oil causing confusion to the readers. Authors grateful to Dr Daniele Castello, a post-doctoral fellow at Aalborg University (Denmark) for pointing out these typographical errors. Considering these comments, authors have thoroughly rechecked all entries of this table. In the revised Table 1 provided below, the elemental composition of biomass feedstock and of bio-oil are separated; and the entries are now given symbols as superscripts to indicate whether are they on dry basis, on wet basis, on dry ash free basis, ppm or as received. For Table 2, in entry no. 3 pressure should be 171.4–174.4 bar; in entry no. 7 pressure should be 0.69 MPa; in entry no. 9 temperature range is 250–350 °C and pressure range is 150–200 bar; in entry no. 24 pressure should be 140 – 170 bar; in entry no. 28 pressure should be 120 – 180 bar; in entry no. 43 temperature is 250–380 °C and pressure is 4.1–22.1 MPa; and in entry no. 46 pressure should be 0.69 MPa. Furthermore, the reference no. in caption of Table 3 should be corrected as Christensen [137]. Authors sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
