Abstract

Women entrepreneurs in the home industry in Medan Sunggal face capital constraints, low financial literacy, and suboptimal financial management implementation. This study explores the role of good financial governance and financial digitization in improving business sustainability, as well as designing innovative approaches to overcome capital and literacy barriers. A mixed-method approach was applied: surveys and questionnaires on 100 respondents, plus interviews and observations. The results show that financial management has a significant effect on business sustainability, while digitization has a moderate positive impact. This study introduces a new contextual framework that integrates financial management and technology, as well as practical training strategies and adaptive governance. The main contribution lies in its implications for entrepreneurship, microeconomics, and local economic development.
