Diversity in the Boardroom: A Content Analysis of Corporate Proxy Disclosures

Abstract

In this article, the author discusses the importance of diversity in the board room for analysing the corporate proxy disclosures. Topics discussed include impact of corporate quota system on the level of representation in the corporate organizations, impact of gender and racial diversity on the corporate organizations and relationship of rule of law with the diversity.
