Abstract
We identified two regulators of denitrification genes in Brucella melitensis 16M: NarR, which regulates the nitrate reductase (nar) operon, and NnrA, which is involved in the expression of the last three reductases of the denitrification pathway (nirK, norB, and nosZ).
