Abstract

Pattimura Park is an Ambon city park that has been revitalized for the lungs of the city. Currently, the park is busy with sports, rest, culinary shows, and placemaking. This paper aims to examine the placemaking process that occurs, using a qualitative descriptive method that focuses on property values in The Place Diagram. Results found 3 points. First, placemaking is indicated by the lively activities from morning to night by all walks of life. Second, the activities created in the 5 area zones: sports, culinary, history, rest, and parks are triggered by the properties available in each zone. Third, the values created in the five zones are dominated by real and useful categories. Special categories are only created in historical zones. However, this value becomes significant and colors the value of the park as a whole because the monument which is its physical property is located in the center of the park area so it becomes a point of interest for Pattimura Park
