Abstract
Each country has own taboos, so the study of euphemism is indispensable for a person who wants to communicate with foreigners successfully. With the intercultural communication increasing, euphemism translation has become more and more important. The paper studies euphemism translation from Skopostheorie and shows some methods and techniques for translating euphemism, including literal translation, free translation, addition, omission and replacement.
