Abstract
The road infrastructure is closely correlated with the economic development of a country. Critical factors such as transportation facilitation, cost reduction, regional development stimulation, investment attraction, tourism promotion, increased economic productivity through reduced travel time, and improved logistics depend on the quality of road infrastructure management. In this study, the author theoretically grounded the concept of road infrastructure management from the perspective of sustainability and outlined a vision of road infrastructure management as an integrated system. The methods employed included monographic analysis, synthesis, deduction, comparative analysis, and other qualitative methods. The relevance of this study lies in the synthesis of the theoretical conceptual model of sustainable road infrastructure management. The author reviewed the main characteristics of sustainable road infrastructure management, highlighted the key criteria evaluating the quality of sustainable infrastructure, and provided a comprehensive overview of the subject.
