Abstract

A list of the 146 species of marine fishes collected or observed in February 1985 between Ensenada de Pinorroa and Ensenada de Sapzurro (Colombian Caribbean coast. Departamento del Chocó) is presented. A detailed analysis of nine species which are new records for the Colombian físh fauna is made: some of them are remarkable: Acyrtus nifaiginosus, new report for the Southern Caribbean, and AnchorieUa pcrfasciau, Paraphidk» schimidti and Elacatinus multifasciatum, new records for the northern coast of South America.
