Abstract

Accounting students who work are faced with a dual role dilemma, namely as workers and as students, which often proves role conflict and time pressure. This study aims to identify the challenges faced by accounting students who work while studying and their impact on academic achievement. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques with accounting students who work part-time and full-time, the results of the study show that students experience difficulties in time management, physical and mental fatigue, and decreased focus on learning, which contribute to fluctuations in academic achievement. However, there are also positive impacts such as increased discipline and time management skills. These findings emphasize the importance of intuitive support for approaches and self-adjustment strategies so that students can balance their two roles effectively.
