Abstract

In this paper, gas pressure sensors embedded in high-pressure fittings are developed. The sensors are based on Fabry-Perot interferometry and can be used to precisely monitor the gas-pressure change. In this paper, we discuss the operating principle of the developed sensors and present some results of their applications in the pressure monitoring of nitrogen gas. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
