Ethics, politics and corruption: A conceptual review emphasized in Peru

Abstract

In this article, a review of different bibliographic sources that have ethics, politics and corruption as research variables is carried out, emphasizing the Peruvian reality. The main objective of the article is to analyze the various definitions that the mentioned variables have, according to different authors and their respective political realities, in addition, a large part of the sources belong to the Peruvian reality, whose politics is quite fickle, challenging and problematic. For the present review, 20 articles extracted from Scopus and related to the research variables were selected. As results, concepts associated with ethics, politics and corruption were obtained, from the theological, psychological and cultural points of view, in addition, the most important contributions were highlighted, which seek to help understand the origin of corruption in politics and measures. that can be carried out to empower the fight against it. Finally, a brief summary of the Peruvian political reality and the corruption inherent in it was displayed. It is concluded in the importance of the ethical study within politics, representing a great contribution for future researchers of the national reality through the years and the boom of corruption in Peru.
