Abstract
Multiple techniques had been developed for single-cell analysis since the 1980s.1 Such single-cell analysis provides an approach to investigate the heterogeneity of cells and to amplify a cell with desired characteristics.2 Thus obtained heterogeneities of individual cells regarding the morphology composition and functions can be applied to detect cell-based diseases.3 Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) based single-cell analysis can provide elemental information concerning individual cells, and attracted attention in the research of metallomics, which involves integrated research for clarifying relationships between bio-metals to bio-function and life maintenance.
