Abstract

This Editorial inaugurates a new Special Series "Advanced Polymers for Stem Cell Biology and Medicine." Contributions will endeavour to present studies on the progress of advanced polymers (natural and newly synthesized) for stem cell research, ranging from tissue culture, cryopreservation, lineage triggering, to the merging of many aspects, which explore intricate polymers for finally forming a functional tissue construct for possible clinical utility.
