Abstract

As first time, (Ba 0.85 Ca 0.15 )(Ti 0.9 Zr 0.1 )O 3 (BCTZ) nanofibers are synthesized by sol-gel assisted electrospining technique. Non-woven and bead-free BCTZ nanofibers mat was formed and a single chemical phase was achieved after calcination of the nanofibers at 700° C in air. XRD and Raman spectroscopy show that BCTZ nanofibers crystallized in the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) region. © 2012 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
