Abstract

Early childhood education is one form of basic education that is very important in shaping the personality and character. The learning process given to early childhood should be done with the aim of providing basic concepts that have meaningfulness for children through real experiences that enable the child to demonstrate creativity and curiosity optimally, one of which is learning science in early childhood. The use of science can not be separated from everyday life. Character is a reflection of the human self associated with the behavior that becomes a person's habit in everyday life, behavior that is good or bad. The person who is called character is the one who can respond to any situation morally, which implements in the form of real action through good behavior. Thus character is the values that are imprinted in a person through education and experience. It can membutikan that science learning on everyday activities can contribute in building the character of children
