Abstract
The aim was to investigate the dialogues established between school physical education and health education in a systematic review, based on the analysis of Brazilian dissertations and theses produced in the last decade. Twenty-five master’s and five doctoral researches were found. The most emphasized themes were teacher training, physical fitness and Public Policies of Health Education in schools. There was a prevalence of studies that related the teaching of health from a biological perspective, with little approach to the teaching of social issues at the interface of health
