Abstract

The relationship between sustainable agriculture and animal welfare is explored. Agricultural practices that promote economic prosperity and ecological balance are discussed. Ethical considerations and legal aspects that recognize animals with legal rights are discussed. Global practices in farm animal welfare are compared with those in India.
