PERANAN LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN TERHADAP PENGOBATAN NARAPIDANA NARKOTIKA (Studi Penelitian Di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIB Lhoksukon)

Abstract

Treatment of narcotics convicts is an effort that must be made for victims of narcotics abuse to be free from the influence of these dangerous substances. The implementation of treatment for narcotics abuse convicts is regulated in Article 54 of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of class II B Lhoksukon penitentiary in providing treatment to narcotic prisoners. This research is an empirical juridical research that collects data through interviews with informants and respondents as well as literature study. The results showed that the role of the Class II B Lhoksukon penitentiary in providing treatment to narcotics prisoners by providing mental guidance to prisoners through personality activities and independence activities.
