Abstract
A synthetic route to novel conjugates of adenine with cyclen was described in this paper and the target products were obtained in high yields. The spacer connecting cyclen and adenine is a rigid phenyl group. Preliminary results demonstrated that the adenine-cyclen conjugates can bind Zn2+ rapidly in water. ©ARKAT.
