Abstract

Xeniaria bicornis Maa 1974, an epizoic earwig on molossid bats previously known only from Mindanao Island, is recorded for the first time in Luzon Island, Philippines. The adult female is described for the first time from specimens collected from the floor of Bahay Paniki Cave in Biak-na-Bato National Park, San Miguel, Bulacan Province. Notes on their biogeography, ecology and behaviour are also provided.
