The infra-red spectrum of the Thyocyanate Group in the Pyridine Complexes of Cu(II), Ni(II) and Co(II)

Abstract

The compounds Co(Py)4Cl2, Co(Py)2Cl2, Cu(Py)2(NCS)2, Co (Py) 4 (NCS) 2 and Ni(Py)4(NCS)2 were synthesized and their I.R. spectra recorded. The assignment of the vibrational frequencies is given with reference to the crystal structure of these compounds. © 1963, Walter de Gruyter. All rights reserved.
