Abstract

Slatri leaves (Calophyllum soulattri) containing flavonoids have potential as antioxidant. The aims of the study was to find antiradical scavenging activity (antioxidant) and total flavonoidscontent of slatri leaves. Antioxidant activity assay using DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-pikrilhidrazil). Total flavonoid content was determined by colorimetric method based on routine standard. The results showed IC50of Slatri leaves extract was 39.63 ± 14.99 ppm and total flavonoid content of Slatri leaves extracts was 25.677 ± 0.046%.
