Abstract

As the family is the first school of human values, it is important to teach them through word and example, since family dynamics are decisive in the full development of the children’s personality, as well as in the tranquility and security of its members. The family begins with the formation of a couple and its evolution constitutes the core of life in this context; so, the way to resolve conflicts in and between them are definitive in being and creating good men and women. Within the present investigation, the quantitative tool used was the survey, applied to 321 women victims of intimate partner violence in the family, the items were written with the aim of detecting the type of violence with the greatest recurrence, as well as the causes and consequences that may be the reason for the violence of the man perpetrated on his partner in the family context.
