Abstract

The Pathways to Grade-Level Reading initiative created partnerships among North Carolina’s early learning and education, public agency, policy, philanthropic, and busi¬ness leaders to define a common vision, shared measures of success, and coordinated strategies to support the opti¬mal development of all North Carolina children beginning at birth to reach third-grade reading proficiency.
