Abstract
Huge amount of datasets are generated in various fields of science and technology. The data is growing rapidly and not static. To handle various types of datasets and queries needs well-organized distributed database systems. In this paper, a distributed database system architecture, analysis and implementation is presented which is developed on the basis of virtualized environment. The architecture of system uses data clustering, SQMD mechanism, web services and virtualization techniques. The scalability of architecture is shown by using it on various chemical structures. The performance results of queries are presented.
