Abstract
Almost as soon as Leontief began IO analysis he had envisioned a global information system, a complete and detailed schematic of the world economy. That goal has remained stubbornly out of reach until only recent years. The Eora MRIO is one project to build such a table. We aimed to build a large, high- resolution global MRIO, and to do so using automation as much as possible.
