Abstract

This article aims to critically analyse the specific conditions of emergence, existencand action of climate denialism in Brazil. Methodologically, the appearance of climate denialisis captured from problems that placed it as an element of a “dispositif ” of an essentially strategnature. In our analyses, we highlight the strategic role of climate denial in the conservative-liberworldview and its action in impeding environmental governmentalization processes in Brazil.
