Abstract

In the 12 years since it was first published, the “Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals” (the Vancouver style), developed by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors, has been widely accepted by both authors and editors; more than 400 journals have stated that they will consider manuscripts that conform to its requirements. This is the fourth edition of the Uniform Requirements. © 1991 American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
