New species of the Genus Berosus (Coleoptera: Hydrophilidae) from Central Asia And Transcaucasia

Abstract

Berosus (Enoplurus) litvinchuki sp. n. is described from Central Asia and Transcaucasia (Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan). The description is illustrated by photographs and drawing of male genitalia. The new species belongs to Berosus spinosus species group and most similar to B. asiaticus Kuwert, 1888. A key to species of Berosus spinosus species group is also provided.
