Abstract

The article starts by presenting a definition of the concept of the Left founded on its historical struggle against social inequality. Secondly, the article deals with the contemporary crisis of the Left by relating it to an analysis of the themes of equality and justice. In conclusion, based on the literature about the subject, it articulates a thematic agenda capable of rescuing the Left from the nowadays crisis.
