Abstract
The clinical and fluorescein angiographic findings in nine patients with serpiginous choroiditis are described. The history and clinical features and the course of the disease support the concept of an immunologically-induced choroiditis. In two patients, good therapeutic results were achieved with antimetabolites, which are recommended particu-larly in cases in which both maculae are threatened.
