Abstract

This present paper deals with the fractal geometry applied in architecture. The generative rules for fractals can be used to develop the students' knowledge about shape grammar. Students use that knowledge to increase their own shape vocabulary in the early stages of architectural design. © 2012 Kim Williams Books, Turin.
