Abstract
This paper resumes a Direct Torque Fuzzy Control (DTFC) of an Induction Motor (IM). The novel approach aims to ameliorate the performances of the conventional Direct Torque Control (DTC) by considerably reducing electromagnetic torque and stator flux ripples and improving the form of stator current. The proposed controller is based on fuzzy logic technique and it is developed in order to be implemented on Field Programmable Gate Array chip (FPGA) by using Matlab/Simullink package and Xilinx System Generator (XSG) toolbox. The efficiency of proposed technique is evaluated through simulative results that show its performance compared to conventional one.
