Abstract

Immunotherapy was introduced 100 years ago and still is the only treatment that modifies the course of allergic diseases. The success of its use depends on correct indications, use of standardized extracts and monitoring the therapeutic response. © The Authors Journal compilation © 2012 Blackwell Verlag GmbH, Berlin.
