Abstract

The stages in the development of a computer program supporting medical decision-making for assessment of the risk of hospital mortality from cardiovascular diseases are presented. The software is intended for use in penitentiary healthcare. Its development included identification of risk factors for hospital mortality using data mining and formation of a software algorithm. The automated prognosis provides a solution to the task of optimizing patient routing and selecting therapeutic tactics, contributing thereby to the prevention of hospital mortality.
