Channel estimation techniques for MIMO-OFDM system

Abstract

In the wireless communications, channel estimation has an important role, because channel state information (CSI) is obtained base on this estimation. CSI allows the adaptation of transmitting signal to the actual state of communication channel, which is crucial in order to achieve fast and reliable communication on wireless channel. In this paper we give a brief overview of channel estimation techniques for MIMO-OFDM system.
