Abstract

In this text we describe how work with anorexic and bulimic subjects is conducted by a interdisciplinary team at the Bulimia and Anorexia Research Group at the Minas Gerais General Hospital of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil. Drawing on Lacanian psychoanalysis we build a clinical case, the construction of which may be useful in carrying out treatment conducted by a multidisciplinary team. The work of building up this clinical case is presented, based on singular elements isolated during the process.
