Generating sets for ideals of finite type in H ∞

Abstract

We study ideals of finite type in H ∞, that is ideals of the form J(f 1,. .,f n)= and give some necessary, respectively sufficient conditions for these ideals to be finitely generated. We also discuss finitely generated ideals of finite order N and show that they are always generated by N+1 Blaschke products. © 2012 Elsevier Masson SAS.
