Abstract

Polypharmacy in the elderly, weaning patients off steroids, and reducing the use of antibiotics, antidepressants and opioids were among the topics discussed at the Royal College of Physicians’ conference Avoiding Harm from Over‐prescribing held in London in November. Joy Ogden presents some of the highlights of the conference.
