Abstract

Rhopalocera recorded in Nagpur City, Maharashtra, India, between 1 January 1987 and 31 December 1989 are listed and compared with the fauna of south India. A total of 61 species has been recorded. The fauna of Nagpur differed from that of the Nilgiri Mountains in southern India.
