Abstract
The objective of the research was to determine the impact of the granting of economic subsidies on the family economy in times of pandemic (COVID-19), in the city of Puno, for which the quantitative, nonexperimental and correlational explanatory approach was applied. For data analysis, the Propensity Score Matching technique and the discrete choice probabilistic model were used, using the Probit model. It was determined that the impact of the economic bonus or subsidy during the pandemic is negative according to the results of the treatment of statistical averages (ATT), but carrying out a comparative analysis of the family economy before and during the pandemic, with the method of differences in differences the results indicate that if there was a positive impact; Therefore, it is determined that economic subsidies increased the family economy by 7.1% and 4.8%. The most important socioeconomic factors that influenced the granting of financial subsidies were age, household size and the sector where the interviewee worked. In addition, the stagnation of economic activities did influence the granting of economic subsidies
