Abstract

Nació el 5 de enero de 1932 en Alessandria (Italia). Fue escritor y filósofo. Sus estudios de doctorado los realizó en la Universidad de Turín, cuya tesis fue «El problema estético en Santo Tomás». En la mayoría de sus obras hay una clara tendencia hacia la cultura medieval y la filosofía tomista. A partir de 1971 dictó Semiótica en la Universidad de Bolonia.He was born on January 5, 1932, in Alessandria, Italy. He was a writer and philosopher. He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Turin, where he defended his dissertation entitled The Aesthetic Problem in Saint Thomas. In most of his works, there is a clear inclination toward medieval culture and Thomistic philosophy. From 1971 onward, he taught Semiotics at the University of Bologna.
