Abstract
After a brief examination of the disease and of the population it affects, the process of diffusion was analysed during the period 1952-72. It is possible to detect both the hierarchical and the contagious nature of this disease and the importance of personal contacts in its spreading. Areas with bad sanitary conditions unexpectedly present few cases. Thus, personal interaction plays a decisive role in the study of the process of diffusion of infectious hepatitis, whatever the scale considered may be: the country, large cities, schools or other places where people are forced to spend most of their time in permanent contact.- from English summary
