Abstract
Plastic waste is among the most significant environmental challenges in many areas, including Sukalaksana Village. To address this issue, the village has implemented an innovative Ecobrick-making program, which utilizes plastic waste as an environmentally friendly construction material. The resulting Ecobricks are used to make hedges, providing a unique and effective solution to waste management while beautifying the village environment. The program involves all levels of society in collecting, processing, and making Ecobricks, thereby increasing their awareness and participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness and sustainability. The results of this initiative show a significant reduction in the volume of plastic waste and the utilization of waste in durable and aesthetic infrastructure. Despite facing several challenges, such as the time-consuming production process and limited resources, the program has become a model that can be applied in other areas facing similar problems. This success shows that managing plastic waste with an Ecobrick approach can have a broad.
