Abstract

The distribution of waiting time, which is a stochastic variable, was measured using non-filtered solutions in 200 glass ampoules. The distributions are analyzed by the author's stochastic model and are compared with those of filtered solutions in the previous paper to investigate quantitatively the inhibitive effect of filtration on nucleation. © 1977, The Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan.
